Meet The Instructor

Jorge Velarde is a certified instructor with 14 years of experience in construction and 6 years of teaching experience. His primary responsibility is to ensure that apprentices are actively engaged in the field and practicing their skills while adhering to strict construction safety protocols. Jorge holds multiple credentials, including certifications as a Carpenter Instructor, OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 Instructor, CPR Instructor, and Scissor Lift, Forklift, and Telehandler Instructor. His extensive expertise ensures that apprentices receive comprehensive, safety-focused training in all aspects of their development.
